The Science of Structura

Profhilo Structura is not a traditional dermal filler or surface skinbooster. It is a highly concentrated, bio-remodeling injectable containing 90mg of dual molecular weight hyaluronic acid (HA).

  • Patented NAHYCO® Technology: Structura utilizes proprietary thermal technology to bond high and low molecular weight HA without the use of chemical cross-linkers. This creates a highly stable hybrid complex that integrates smoothly into the deep facial tissue.

  • Deep Fat Compartment Restoration: When precisely injected into the subcutaneous plane, Structura actively stimulates adipose-derived stem cells. This encourages the regeneration and survival of fat cells, replacing lost structural density and providing sustained support to the overlying skin.

  • The Lipolifting Effect: By restoring volume to the deep fat pads, Structura naturally lifts the mid-face and jawline, softening deep folds and hollows without the rigid density associated with conventional cross-linked fillers.

Structura vs. Classic Profhilo

While both treatments utilize premium hyaluronic acid, they are engineered for entirely different layers of the skin:

Profhilo Structura is highly effective for patients in their late 30s and beyond who are experiencing volume loss. Our clinical approach customizes the injection technique based on your specific aging profile:

  • Sinkers: Patients experiencing mid-face hollowing, sunken cheeks, visible bony structures, and reduced fat density.

  • Saggers: Patients presenting with tissue descent, heavy lower faces, and a loss of jawline definition.

Treatment Protocol: A complete structural restoration typically requires an initial cycle of 2 sessions spaced 30 days apart.   • The cannula technique minimizes downtime significantly. You may experience mild swelling, transient redness, or slight tenderness at the entry points, which typically resolves within 48 hours. Most patients are able to return to their normal daily activities immediately following the procedure.

  • Because Structura works biologically to regenerate adipose tissue and stimulate collagen, results are gradual and natural. You may begin to notice subtle improvements in facial firmness and contour within 2 to 4 weeks. The full lipolifting and volumizing effects generally become visible within 4 to 8 weeks as your tissue fully integrates the HA complex.

  • Traditional dermal fillers use chemically cross-linked HA to provide immediate, localized, and static volume.
